Every member of BHA has a voice that matters, and we need to be able to talk and listen to each other, not talk past each other, either in person or online. 

This is one of a series of highly structured conversations to share what is on your hearts regarding the war in Israel and Palestine in a safe and non-polarized setting.  

Some of the design principles informing the structure of the events 

• Each session is open only to BHA members ages 13 and older, and each session capped at 40 people. 

• This will be an opportunity to practice empathic listening; it is not a space for pontificating or convincing anyone of anything. We will not be setting policy for the US government, the Israeli government, the Palestinian leadership, the City of Beacon or even BHA. 

• We will prioritize face to face conversations and significantly limit large group conversations.

• No recording of any type.

• No flags or symbols showing “where you stand.”
