Renewing your BHA Membership

Thank you for renewing your BHA membership!  We appreciate your commitment to our congregation.  Being a member of a small synagogue can make a big difference!  It brings us together, both figuratively and literally, providing “sanctuary” for everyone in our Kehila Kedosha,  our sacred Jewish community.  At BHA, we surround ourselves with song, prayer, ritual and learning which serves as a powerful way for us to connect with one another, our ancestors, our common history as a People, and, ultimately, the Divine.

We join to feel seen and appreciated for who we are and for what each of us has to offer.  We join for connection and study, often finding that there is much to learn from our members who are part of the generations that came before and after us.  We join to learn from our long-time members who have an abundance of Jewish wisdom to share. We join for the energy and unique perspectives of our younger members who bring inspiration and hope to our community.  We join to have a place to hold lifecycle events for our friends and families.  We join because we want to be a part of something bigger than ourselves.  We join because we care about the future of Judaism.

BHA thrives when our community comes together to support one another.  There are many ways to participate at BHA; educationally, socially, and spiritually.  We look forward to deepening our connections with you in the coming year.  Please take the time to update your information and to answer the questions below to let us know your talents, your areas of expertise and your interests.

Thank you for being a member of Beacon Hebrew Alliance.

SUSTAINING MEMBERSHIP & EZRA MEMBERSHIP

Whether you have a lot or a little, we want everyone to be able to join the BHA community.  By giving extra, you help make that possible.

This year we are introducing the option to contribute at the SUSTAINING MEMBERSHIP level.  We work hard to keep our membership dues low and affordable for everyone.  Those who are able to give substantially more, can choose to pay the Sustaining Membership of $4000.

The EZRA MEMBERSHIP is a line in our budget that helps to offset adjustments given to members who can't afford to pay the full membership amount.  Ezra means help in Hebrew and the Ezra Membership is the place where you can give a little more to help our members who can not.

Contributing to Sustaining Membership or to Ezra Membership will enable BHA to continue to be inclusive of all members of our community and allows us to welcome a diversity of members, including differences in personal financial resources.
