Renewing your BHA Membership
Thank you for choosing to renew your membership with BHA. Your dedication to our congregation is deeply appreciated. As a member of our small synagogue, your presence holds significant value, fostering unity and providing a meaningful sanctuary within our Kehila Kedosha, our sacred Jewish community.
At BHA, we unite through song, prayer, ritual, and learning, forging strong connections with each other, our ancestors, and our shared heritage as a People, ultimately fostering a connection with the Divine.
We join to be acknowledged and valued for our individuality and contributions. We join to seek connection and knowledge, drawing wisdom from both past and present members, enriching our understanding of Jewish tradition. We join because our long-time members offer invaluable insights, while younger members infuse our community with fresh perspectives and vitality. We join to have a place to gather to celebrate life's milestones with our friends and loved ones and to be part of a collective greater than ourselves, nurturing the future of Judaism.
We renew our membership because BHA flourishes when our community supports one another. There are numerous avenues for involvement, whether through educational, social, or spiritual engagement. We eagerly anticipate deepening our bonds with you in the upcoming year.

SUSTAINING MEMBERSHIP
This is designed for individuals and families who can generously support the synagogue at a level that aligns with the actual cost per member to operate BHA. Sustaining members are essential to ensuring continued vitality and sustainability of BHA.
EZRA FUND
"Ezra" translates to "help" in Hebrew. By contributing a bit more, you can play a crucial role in fostering inclusivity within our congregation. Your support allows those with lesser means to participate fully in our community life, so that financial constraints are not an obstacle for anyone seeking to engage in the spiritual, educational, and social opportunities BHA offers.
MEMBERSHIP PAYMENT
- Please renew your membership by August 15, 2024
- You will have the option to set up a single payment or recurring payments. Online payments can be made using a credit card or an ACH debit.
- If you pay by credit card, please consider adding 2.7% to your payment to help BHA cover processing fees. This additional payment is optional.
- Recognizing that the increase in membership dues may pose challenges for some families, we continue our tradition of offering straightforward adjustment options within the renewal form, allowing for up to a 20% reduction. Alternatively, you have the flexibility to designate any amount that aligns with what your family can give in membership dues.
- You do not have to pay your BHA membership dues now. If you would prefer to set up payment later, select "Bill To My Account" in the payment options and we will email you a monthly reminder.
- You can also opt to "Bill To My Account" if you'd prefer to pay your membership dues by check or pay from your retirement account. Please mail checks to Beacon Hebrew Alliance, PO Box 7, Beacon NY 12508.
- You must pay in full or set up a recurring payment plan by December 1, 2024.
- Final payments must be made by June 30, 2025.
- All membership contributions are tax deductible in the calendar year they are paid.
RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP
For the fiscal year 5785 (July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025), the board has approved an increase of roughly 6% for standard and senior membership. It only takes a few minutes to renew your membership to BHA.
