Here is a Resource Guide  for those looking to help, as well as those in need of help. This guide currently addresses issues related to immigration, food security and LGBTQ rights.

“If I am only for myself, who am I?” 

At BHA, our sense of moral obligation reaches beyond the walls of our building and we welcome opportunities to manifest the ideals and values of our tradition through acts of justice and compassion. 

Some actions we have taken over the past few years include

• Hosting blood drives in collaboration with the New York Blood Center

• Establishing and stocking a Tiny Food Pantry 

• Providing “winter weather wear” to asylum seekers in the Hudson Valley

• Hesed; Providing for our members in times of need, both joyous and difficult, through Meal Trains, errands run, comfort calls and more.
