About Preschool 2024-25 Enrollment
About Preschool Enrollment
2024-25 SCHOOL YEAR
Our small, multi-age group lends itself to a close-knit learning community.
Our regular program runs Tuesdays through Fridays from 9:00 am until 11:55 am. Three teachers work with 13 students. Mondays are an additional option. Mondays have fewer students with two teachers.
Children in our program must be two years old by Sept. 1, 2024. Our oldest students turn four after June 30, 2024.
Beginning this year, rather than registering on a first-come, first-served basis, families will submit an application to enroll in BHA Preschool.
The BHA Preschool Application will open February 5, it will be emailed to BHA Members and those on our previous wait list. We will review all applications that we receive by February 25th, and we will accept students with priority given in this order: to BHA Members, current preschool families, former preschool families and new applicant families. Applications received after February 25th, 2024 will be placed on a wait list and reviewed on a rolling basis. Non-member applicants must pay a non-refundable $65 application fee upon submission of the form. BHA Members can apply for free.
The application should take about 30-45 minutes to complete. You will be asked to share observations about your child and express why you’ve chosen BHA Preschool. We ask parents to be thoughtful and thorough when answering questions in the application about their child. Please review the Criteria for Participation checklist before joining the wait list to get a sense of whether your child is ready for our program.
In March we will contact applicants and invite them to complete the enrollment process. We may schedule a visit with you and your child so teachers and incoming students begin to get to know each other. To finalize the enrollment process, you will be asked to complete our Enrollment Form which details our payment policies and requires a $500 deposit towards your first trimester’s tuition. Applicants we do not invite to enroll will be added to our wait list.
