Our Shabbat Potluck Dinners are at the heart of our Kabbalat Shabbat Celebrations. Everyone is welcome to come an informal, celebratory community dinner. Fully vaccinated individuals if over the age of 5, are welcome in our building.
Please bring a vegetarian dish to share, we accept strictly vegetarian food prepared in any kitchen, including yours. Any prepared dishes brought into BHA should have a little card listing all ingredients so people can make informed choices regarding their own food commitments. Packaged foods should have a hechsher. No time to make or pick up a dish to share? If you can't contribute food to our pot luck, please consider making a donation.
Particulars:

Fully vaccinated individuals if over the age of 5, are welcome in our building.

Everyone inside the building will need to wear a mask over their nose and mouth.

Adult learning and davvening will be available on line through the BHA facebook page.

We do not have any air filtration or purification system in place in our nearly 100 year old building.
Our Friday Shabbat Schedule:

Friday Kehillah at BHA 4:00-5:30 PM - In the Outdoor Classroom in the BHA yard (Kids ages 5-12) our weekly chance to come together, featuring Mitzvah Labs, a chance to explore Jewish ritual and holidays following the theme of each Hebrew month. Open to all, suggested donation $36 per family, included with Masa. This will NOT be streamed online.
- The Language of Truth/Sefat at the BHA Fire Pit 5:00-6:00 PM - Join Rabbi Brent for a soulful exploration of the weekly Torah portion. Scheduled most weeks, please check our calendar. This will be streamed on facebook.
- Kabbalat Shabbat at the BHA Fire Pit 6:00-7:00 PM Join us to welcome Shabbat with song, dance and davvening on Friday nights. This will be streamed on facebook,

Community Potluck Dinner 7:00 -8:30 PM - Join us indoors in the BHA Community Room, for those who are fully vaccinated if over the age of five years old. Please bring vegetarian food to share.

Shabbat, Sep 13th 9:30a to 12:00p
Bring your drum or any other percussion if you have one to Drum and Shaker Shabbat!! With our collaborative and collective drumming to guide us, we will chant and sing our way through Shabbat morning. At a natural pause, we'll stop to reflect on the week's Torah reading, and finish with some more spirited drumming and singing. All are welcome - with our without your drum!
