About Preschool Enrollment
About Preschool Enrollment
2025-26 SCHOOL YEAR
Our small, multi-age group lends itself to a close-knit learning community.
Our regular program runs Tuesdays through Fridays from 9:00 am until 11:55 am. Three teachers work with 13 students. Mondays are an additional option. Mondays have fewer students with two teachers.
Children in our program must be two years old by Sept. 1, 2025. Our oldest students turn four after June 30, 2026.
New families must submit an application in order to be considered for enrollment.
INFO-SESSIONS AND TOURS
You are invited to register for a visit to see our program in action. We encourage all who are interested in applying to BHA Preschool to join us for an info-session and tour.
Register to attend an Information Session & Tour on:
~Monday, January 13, 9:30AM-10:15AM
~Friday, January 24, 10:30AM-11:15AM
~Wednesday, February, 10:00AM-10:45AM
Meet with BHA Preschool Director and Lead-Teacher, Ilana Friedman to learn about and tour our preschool program. This event is for parents and caregivers of prospective students, and not for children. Participants will gather to talk about our program and tour the classroom and garden/yard. School will be in session, and we will spend some time observing classroom activity.
APPLICATION
The application for the 2025-2026 opens on February 5 and closes on Feb. 25. After that, we accept application applications on a rolling basis. To receive access to the application, complete the Preschool Enrollment Interest Form. Applications received after February 25th, 2025 will be placed on a wait list. Non-member applicants must pay a non-refundable $65 application fee upon submission of the form. BHA Members can apply for free.
The application takes about 30-45 minutes to complete. You will be asked to share observations about your child and share why you’ve chosen BHA Preschool. We ask parents to be thoughtful and thorough when answering questions in the application about their child. Please review the Criteria for Participation checklist before joining the wait list to get a sense of whether your child is ready for our program.
In March, we will contact applicants who have been accepted and invite them to complete the enrollment process. Those who have not been accepted will be placed on our wait list. We may schedule a visit with you and your child so teachers and incoming students begin to get to know each other. To finalize the enrollment process, you will be asked to complete our Enrollment Form which details our payment policies and requires a $500 deposit towards your first trimester’s tuition.
