Kulam: For Post B-Mitzvah Teens

In the fall of 2024, BHA is launching a new program for post B-Mitzvah teens called Kulam and we would LOVE for you/your teen to be a part of it!  Open to BHA members and non-members, our meetings will take place from 6-7:30pm on the Third Thursday of every month.

Kulam (meaning “Everyone,”) is a program for Jewish High School students, grades 8-12, that promotes shleimut (individual wellbeing), hesed (connection), and tzedek (just action). .  Each session will feature dialogue prompts, games, Jewish texts, and other activities that focus on a specific area of social-emotional learning that resonates with teens and helps them learn to relate to and communicate with one another. 

Parents, this program will help teens to reconnect with each other in brave, safe spaces that foster open and honest discussions.

ABOUT KULAM

 Our Vision: Kulam aims to equip teens with the skills to:

  • Foster healthy and caring communities

What to Expect: Each session will feature:

  • Dialogue prompts and discussions
  • Games and activities
  • Exploration of Jewish texts and values
  • Opportunities for social-emotional learning
  • Dinner and dessert

  • Building healthy relationships

MEETING FEE

The cost of these nine meetings will be $108.00 for BHA Members/$154.00 for Non-Members.  This fee helps to cover the cost of pizza and snacks. Registration is mandatory.
