Masa students had a chance to tell the Atid committee about their experiences at BHA last weekend. The students seemed to have a lot to say, and I’m glad that they could have a part in helping to shape the future of our community!

In addition to those talks, our Friday students made some great matzo ball soup for the potluck. Other students have been working hard on the Hanukkah play, and I’m sure they’re looking forward to sharing their story with the community on December 20th!

On Sunday, students turned their focus to Grandfriends’ Day. They are learning about welcoming guests by hearing stories, learning some songs to share, and making decorations.

Please make sure to register! We want to make sure that every child has a Grandfriend, and that every member of our community who has chosen to join us for Grandfriends Day will have a match of their own!

This Sunday, there will be a Blood Drive at BHA shortly after Masa is finished. Please make sure to pick up your children promptly so the folks from the blood bank will have time to set up! And if you are able to give blood, please take some time to do so. There is a shortage of blood right now. Do what you can to save a life!
