Grandfriend's Day at MASA
Sunday, November 24, 2019 • 26 Cheshvan 5780
11:00 AM - 12:30 PMBHA, 331 Verplanck Ave., BeaconGrandfriends Day
What: Grandfriends day is a time for older members of our students' community to join them at Masa. Students will share some of the things they are learning, and their grandfriends can share something about their own experiences.
Who: A Grandfriend is anyone who is older than our students, and who isn't their parent! Grandparents, aunts, uncles, members of the community. It doesn't mean you're old: our youngest Grandfriend was a college student!
Why: A community is made of people from many generations. We want to share the experiences of Jewish life l'dor v'dor, from generation to generation!
Where and When: At Beacon Hebrew Alliance, on November 24, 2019, from 11:00-12:30.
How: Students will invite their own particular Grandfriends. We also invite members of the community who would like to participate to let us know. We will match these members with Masa students. Contact Julia Gross Alexander for more information.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
