One of the most important pieces of my rabbinic education was the fellowship I had at B’nai Jeshurun, and one of the most significant blessings of my time at BJ is my relationship with Marcelo Bronstein. 

Marcelo is a rabbi - my rabbi - and a therapist with a strong inclination toward spirituality, mindfulness, and mysticism. He has been an incredible friend, teacher and mentor for me, and in particular, taking part in one of his meditation retreats in Costa Rica was an essential part of my own growth and development. Marcelo takes Judaism seriously, 

I’m delighted that Marcelo will be leading a workshop for our community next week on Acknowledging our Shadows. I know that for me, the current situation brings all my fears to the forefront, and the center of my spiritual work right now is finding how to give appropriate space to my fears without letting them take over. 

I anticipate this workshop being useful for me - everything I have ever done with Marcelo has been - and I trust it will be for you as well. Please join us next Wednesday, May 13 at 7:00 PM. This event is free and open to all, but registration is required.
