Of course, we experience love, joy and excitement in our lives, and we celebrate those moments.

But also we also feel anxiety, fear and anger and a whole host of other feelings we might sometimes wish to push away, but even when we try, we find that we cannot.

Join one of Rabbi Brent’s most important mentors, Rabbi Marcelo Bronstein, for a conversation about acknowledging our shadows without letting them take over.

Marcelo Bronstein is a clinical Psychologist, Rabbi, and Mindfulness facilitator. He served as a senior Rabbi at Congregation B’nai Jeshurun in Manhattan for twenty-four years. In that role, he brought his passion for Jewish mindfulness to his congregation in partnership with his beloved friend Rabbi Rachel Cowan. Marcelo’s reverence for nature led him to move, together with his wife, Karina Zilberman, to “La Ecovilla,” in Costa Rica, a 21st century sustainable community that he now calls home. He is now a part-time rabbi at congregation B’nai Jeshurun. In addition, he has a private practice as a therapist in Costa Rica, he leads Jewish Mindfulness retreats in nature, and sees clients in person and online.
