CANCELED Shabbat Morning Pirke Avot
Saturday, September 14, 2019 • 14 Elul 5779
9:00 AM - 10:00 AMBHAJoin us for a close reading of selections from Pirke Avot, the classic second century compilation of the ethical teachings and maxims of the Talmudic rabbis. We'll read the ancient words together with contemporary commentary to discern what wisdom the tradition might have to offer us in this day and age. All are welcome to this drop in class; students celebrating their b-mitzvah in 2019-20 are expected to learn together in this class, together with their parents.
