Summary |
The City of Beacon recently informed BHA they are considering designating our building a historic landmark. At the October BOD meeting, the Board of Directors discussed this at length. Based on the lack of benefit and added burden that a historic designation would impose on the congregation, the Board is likely to oppose this plan.
The Atid process is underway, and could use a few more Atid Ambassadors. Please contact Jesse Lunin Pack at jesse@beaconhebrewalliance.org to find out how you can assist in this important process that will help us plan the future of BHA. Also, if you received an Atid survey, please complete it as soon as possible so that your voice can be heard!
There is a Community Clean Up Day on Sunday, November 3rd, beginning at 9am. Please come and lend a hand to clear up autumn leaves and brush, help with minor repairs and prepare our beloved site for winter. Many hands make light work!
