The holiday of Hannukah celebrates the stubborn persistence of light in the face of darkness.

The story of Beacon is the story of a town coming through hard times with hope and dedication. In order to celebrate those who light up our community, Beacon Hebrew Alliance and BeaconArts are teaming up to celebrate Illumin8tion at the one-of-a-kind Beacon Bicycle Menorah!

Hannukah tells us that we can hope against all reason and sometimes, we will prevail. Sometimes, the mighty will fall before the weak, and sometimes, just a little bit of fuel will get us through the darkest night - or even eight of them, if need be.

We'll have nightly lightings honoring the people who illumin8 our town, a special Sunday morning party for families, and more! Our schedule is:

Tuesday, December 16 - Educators
Wednesday, December 17 - Keepers of the Earth
Thursday, December 18 - Public Servants
Friday, December 19 - Musicians and Artists
Saturday, December 20 - Beacon Business Owners
Saturday, December 20 - Latkapalooza
Sunday, December 21 - All Ages Hannukah Party
Sunday, December 21 - Transporters
Monday, December 22 - Healers
Tuesday, December 23 - Clergy

Please follow this link to see the details for all the events we have planned for Hannukah. All of our programs are free and open to the public, and donations to support this community are always appreciated. We hope you'll be able to be part of the celebrations, and if you have any questions, please be in touch!
