Dear Friends:

As you might have noticed, the weather has not exactly been cooperating with Sukkot and Open to the Sky. Unfortunate, but no crisis. Whether inside or out, we still have holidays to be celebrated, connections to be made and Torah of all types to be learned. So here is our revised schedule for Shabbat:

FRIDAY: Storytime will be at BHA at 5 PM and at 5:30 we'll have a vegetarian potluck followed by davvening at 7:00 PM or so.

SATURDAY: Shacharit services, where we'll be celebrating the bat mitzvah of Sunita Pearson-Siegel, will be at 9:30 AM, followed by Kiddush. At 2:00 PM, I'll be teaching on the mystical meaning of Sukkot in the BHA Sukkah and at 3:00 PM, Briana Meyers will be leading an Introduction to Meditation and Mindfulness in the BHA Sukkah. Unfortunately, all other events schedule for Saturday have been canceled on account of the weather.

As far as Sunday's schedule, we're going to see what the weather forcasts look like after Shabbat and make scheduling decisions from there. If there is any doubt or uncertainly, please consult our calendar page: https://beaconhebrewalliance.org/events
