Dear Friends:

We are blessed with an incredibly strong and vibrant community here at BHA; virtually everyone who comes to visit is struck by it. Of course, community isn't found; it's made - it's made by people investing time into relationships with other people, its made by people investing energy into the ties that bind us to each other and to the Divine. It's made by you and me. That community you've been looking for? The one that is open, spiritually seeking, friendly, with space for adults and kids? It's being made tonight and tomorrow - I hope you'll join us! 

• FRIDAY: At 6:00, we've got our Shabbat Luck Dinner, and then at 7:00 PM, I'll be teaching on the spiritual dangers of unity, and then at 7:30, Cantor Ellen, Dan Fisherman and Eric Helmut will lead us in Musical Shabbat services.
• SATURDAY: Yevarech Shabbat Shacharit Service - this begins at 10 and ends at noon. Its for adults and children, and it is where students in our Masa program will learn the liturgy - our Sunday morning and Tuesday afternoon programs are increasingly focused on Hebrew language and Jewish values.
• SUNDAY: No MASA Program, Bishulada: Community Cooking
• Further Down the Road: A Spooky Halloween Golem Service and the Sprituality of Food (Five Sundays: October 25, November 1, 15, 22 and December 6).
