Here are some of our learning highlights this year:
Next week, we're hosting a very special guest, Dr. Ruth Calderon of Tel Aviv, who has changed the way Judaism is thought of and experienced in Israel. She'll be teaching on Ancient Texts and Modern Israel: Forgiveness.
Later this fall, we'll have an opportunity to learn about the BHA trip to Israel and the West Bank in the spring.
Our Sunday morning classes will be starting up this Sunday. Please note that all classes will be capped at 12 people this year, so please be sure to register as soon as possible.
- Fall: The Triumph and Tragedy of Israel
- Winter: Rebbe Nachman: Ancient Texts and Contemporary Souls
- Spring: Song of Songs
On Wednesday mornings year round, we'll again be offering an Intro to Judaism and Discussion, open to all, and for those who want to get a handle on the Hebrew alphabet, Julie Seltzer will be offering an Introduction to Hebrew.
At BHA, learning Torahs - not one Torah, but all the sources of spiritual wisdom upon which we draw - is a core spiritual activity for children and adults. Our Full Adult Learning Calendar is here; for more information about our Masa program for children, click here. I hope you'll come and learn with us!
