Beacon Hebrew Alliance is a creative, spiritual Jewish community in need of a great administrative professional for 25-30 hours a week, with flexible scheduling.

 

We're looking for someone who is organized, self-motivated, curious, digitally savvy and energetic. Also, you need a sense of humor.

 

Description: We're a small place with big ambitions, so this role, like all roles at BHA, is constantly evolving. Here's what we need someone who is:

  • A results oriented, self-motivated, member-focused, high energy individual;
  • Organized;
  • Highly reliable with excellent follow-up skills;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to develop and maintain positive relationships with multiple members, while maintaining discretion regarding confidential congregant information;
  • Prefers flexible work hours. Hourly work week will be between 25-30 hours;
  • Solid experience with all forms of Google documents & storage, as well as experience with Microsoft Office;
  • Bookkeeping skills. Experience with QuickBooks. Able to oversee AP, and some direct member follow-up on AR;
  • Maintain congregant CRM database;
  • Web-site experience, with the ability to update web-site and prepare weekly digital newsletter
  • Support all social media activity;
  • Support all on-going BHA activities as needed.
