Summary |
As the academic year winds down, we’re making some changes and adjustments to programs and events at BHA for the summer.
Here are some highlights of things which are already scheduled or in the works for the summer:
- Our Friday night erev Shabbat schedule is shifting - starting this Friday, Mini Minyan will be at 4:30 PM, Mindful Hasidism will begin at 5:00 PM and davvening will be from 6:00 - 7:00. All of these programs will take place at http://bit.ly/BHA-PUBLIC-ZOOM
-
We’ve opened a Whatsapp Group for members of BHA to be able to chat with each other directly, share relevant information, or make plans for zoom dinners or socially distant walks. If you are a member of BHA and have not received the link to join, please be in touch with Faith Adams.
-
We’ll be hosting a 3-Session Racial Justice Reading Group:
-
The Women's Rosh Chodesh Group will be gathering online to welcome the new month. Next sessions are:
Some other programs in the works include:
-
Pre-recorded Soul Strolls for individuals or families to use on their own walks in the woods
-
A DIY Shabbat Dinner & Havdalah Guide
-
An anti-racist lending library for children and parents.
Obviously, these are unprecedented circumstances in which we find ourselves; nevertheless, our community has always been bigger and stronger than our building, and we will continue to find ways to learn and live Torah. We hope to see you on line and in small groups as we can, and please let us know if you have any ideas of how to further strengthen the community in our pursuit of the Holy.
With blessings,
Brent Spodek, Rabbi
