For Parents

Join us for a workshop about how to talk to your children about sexuality! This course will help to frame the lessons children learn in their workshops, but is also open to parents whose children are not registered for the Sexuality Workshops at BHA.

The course will be taught through the lens of Jewish values, and the content will be body-positive, and queer/trans/questioning-friendly. There will be two sessions for parents, helping them to find ways to discuss issues of sexuality with their children, and to process through their own experience of sexuality. 

Note that childcare is not provided for these workshops, but infants may attend.

Sessions: Sunday, November 3rd & Sunday, January 26th, 9:30am-12:30pm at BHA.

For Children

This class has been canceled due to lack of registrants. 
There will be an eight-session course for children ages 8-11, and a separate eight-session course for children ages 12-15. These courses will give children age-appropriate tools to understand their own emerging sexual identities, to interact with others appropriately, to set boundaries, and to enter adolescence with healthy viewpoints that include knowledge of their own sexuality.

For Children Ages 8-11: Wednesdays, 4:30-6:00, November 6th, 13th, 20th, December 4th, 11th, 18th, January 8th, 15th. 

For Children Ages 12-15: Thursdays, 4:30-6:00, November 7th, 14th, 21st, December 5th, 12th, 19th, January 9th, 16th.
