Tu Bishvat originally was a day when trees were considered a year older. It was transformed by the kabbalists of Safed into a celebration of nature. Join us for singing, learning and a Seder as we come together in community to celebrate.

Please gather the following items for our seder:

• White wine or grape juice.
• Red wine or grape juice.

Four types of local fruit:

• One that is hard on the outside and soft on the inside such as walnuts, almonds, pistachios.
• One that is soft with a pit in the center such as olives or dates.
• One that is completely edible such as figs, grapes and raisins.
• One that has a tough skin but sweet on the inside such as bananas, mangos, oranges.
