Tu Bishvat Seder

7:30 PM - 8:30 PMZoom link emailed upon registrationTu Bishvat originally was a day when trees were considered a year older. It was transformed by the kabbalists of Safed into a celebration of nature. Join us for singing, learning and a Seder as we come together in community to celebrate.
Please gather the following items for our seder:
- White wine or grape juice.
- Red wine or grape juice.
Four types of local fruit:
- One that is hard on the outside and soft on the inside such as walnuts, almonds, pistachios.
- One that is soft with a pit in the center such as olives or dates.
- One that is completely edible such as figs, grapes and raisins.
- One that has a tough skin but sweet on the inside such as bananas, mangos, oranges.

Shabbat, Sep 13th 9:30a to 12:00p
Bring your drum or any other percussion if you have one to Drum and Shaker Shabbat!! With our collaborative and collective drumming to guide us, we will chant and sing our way through Shabbat morning. At a natural pause, we'll stop to reflect on the week's Torah reading, and finish with some more spirited drumming and singing. All are welcome - with our without your drum! -

Join us for Joanna Castle Miller's staged reading of CONVERSA, her story of finding her way to Jewish identity through migration and change. After the reading and talk back with Joanna, we'll have a potluck dinner followed by a Musical Selichot service with Luke and Rabbi Justin
