Soul Stroll: A Shabbat Walk in the Woods
Saturday, January 15, 2022 • 13 Shevat 5782
10:00 AM - 12:00 PMGiven upon registrationOur spiritual lives are often over-verbalized and under-experienced. Join us for an experience of hiking, meditating, singing and praying in the majesty of the Hudson Valley.
This is a very accessible trail walk that can be done by people with a wide range of strength and ability. There is a parallel program for children who are not ready for extended periods of silence, led by Josh Kaplan, BHA member and Director of the Randolph School.
While there is no fee for participating in this hike, we do, of course, have expenses and we hope that you will choose to contribute to BHA so we can continue to be a home for vibrant Jewish life in the Hudson Valley.
The Details:
Where: We depart from various trail heads in the Beacon/Cold Spring area; please register for details.
When: We head off at 10:00 AM; please plan on arriving before then.
What to Bring: Layers, water, snacks. If you have a small prayerbook that you are comfortable with and would like to bring it, feel free, but it’s not necessary.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
