On the festival of Shavuot we mark the anniversary of the revelation at Mount Sinai - zeman matan torateinu--the season of the giving of our Torah. Shavuot is a celebration not just of receiving the Torah, but also of learning, and the ways in which we commit ourselves to the community. Over Shavuot a number of members both adults and kids will be helping to lead parts of the service and learning.

On erev Shavuot on Sunday at 7PM, we will be reading from the Book of Ruth, some in Hebrew and some in English. We will end with ma’ariv, the evening service.

On Shavuot, Monday morning at 9:30AM, we will have the morning service and read from the Torah portion, some in Hebrew and some in English.  BYOB/ BYOCC (bring your own blintzes/ cheese cake)!
