Shake It: Israeli Line Dancing for Sukkot!
Sunday, October 9, 2022 • 14 Tishrei 5783
3:30 PM - 6:30 PMPete and Toshi Riverfront Park, Beacon, NYOn Sukkot, we shake the lulav and the etrog in all directions to remind us that G-d is everywhere, even in the transient and unstable moments. Through Sukkot, we have the opportunity to connect more deeply with nature, each other and the Universe as we recall the 40 years of wandering in the dessert and give thanks for G-d's protection. Sukkot is a joyous holiday marked by gratitude and connectedness. What better way to celebrate than to SHAKE IT ourselves with the phenomenal instructor RAKDAN as he teaches us a wonderful, upbeat collection of Israeli Linedances. These dances are easy and fun - no matter how old you are! Please bring a vegetarian dish and dessert to share for the potluck with serving utensils!
