Repro Shabbat Lunch & Learn
Saturday, February 22, 2025 • 24 Shevat 5785
12:00 PM - 2:00 PMBHA, 331 Verplanck Ave., BeaconSponsored by the National Council of Jewish Women, Repro Shabbat is taking place throughout the US as an opportunity to gather to learn, connect and act around the critical issue of reproductive freedom, which is fundamental to Jewish tradition and under attack in the current political environment.
We’ll gather for a potluck lunch, during which I will share some texts to foster conversation and deepen our understanding of the role of reproductive freedom in Jewish sources. I also plan to share organizing and action materials that NCJW has prepared, with the hope that they prompt or own ideas for how we lift up these issues in our own community.
For those who would like to gather before lunch, please join me at 11:00 for some informal tefilah and Torah study.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
