Minchah & Mourners Kaddish
Thursday, February 20, 2025 • 22 Shevat 5785
5:45 PM - 6:15 PMBHA, 331 Verplanck Ave., Beacon and ZoomThursday the remains of four Israeli hostages are going to be returned on Thursday, and it is expected that Shiri Bibas and her children, Ariel and Kfir, will be among them.
As many have observed, the unfathomable personal tragedy for the Bibas family has become symbolic of the devastation of October 7 and its aftermath as a whole.
In light of the many resonances and complex responses we all have to this moment, join us as we gather tomorrow, Thursday, from 5:45-6:15 at BHA. In a spirit of solidarity and consolation, the space of Minchah gives us the opportunity for prayer of the heart, the comfort of ancient words, gentle melodies and spacious silence, as well as some brief time for reflection and Mourner’s Kaddish
