Meet the Candidates: Dan Aymar Blair
Sunday, October 27, 2024 • 25 Tishrei 5785
4:30 PM - 6:00 PMBHA, 331 Verplanck Ave., Beacon NYTo help BHA members inform themselves before this November's election, we are hosting a series of forums with candidates who are running to represent our area. At these forums, members will have the opportunity to meet candidates, pose questions, and share priorities and concerns.
Currently serving as Beacon City Council member for Ward 4, Aymar-Blair is the Democratic candidate for Dutchess County Comptroller. You can learn more about him at his campaign website here (https://www.danaymarblair.com/).
As a non-partisan institution, BHA is not endorsing any of these candidates, nor are we hosting debates. Our criteria for an invitation is that the candidate must be running for a position that will represent the geographic area that BHA falls into, and for every one of those positions we are extending invitations to candidates from both major parties.
Participants in these events are expected to abide by BHA's Brit Lashon Hatov and treat candidates with respect, even if you disagree with them. While it is appropriate to pose challenging questions to the candidates who wish to represent us in public office, it is not appropriate to treat the event like a protest. Political signs and paraphernalia, shouting, and interrupting will not be tolerated and anyone who engages in such activity will be asked to leave.
This event is for BHA Members Only.
