Masa students and families have the opportunity to put into practice the values of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), Achrayut (doing what we can to make the world a better place), and HaKarat HaTov (seeking joy and being grateful). 

In lieu of our traditional Sunday Masa meeting, we invite the BHA Community to participate in Mitzvah Day/Volunteer Day at Surprise Lake Camp.  Volunteer Day is a great opportunity to perform a mitzvah with your family, make new friends, and feel the warmth of community and camaraderie . . . even on a chilly day!

This event will be held rain or shine!  Lunch is included, and everyone who stays until at least 2pm will receive a Volunteer Day t-shirt.  Projects include cleaning, painting, weeding, spreading wood chips, gardening, and a wide range of projects designed to improve and beautify camp.

If you plan to attend, we ask that you register no later than Friday 4/26 so that the camp can appropriately plan for food and supplies.  

We hope to have strong BHA representation for this fun and fulfilling community day.  (Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult)
