Rabbi Art Green is one of the most important Jewish theologians alive today. He was the founding dean and is currently rector and professor of the Rabbinical School at Hebrew College.

He has written more than a dozen books of Jewish thought and history; we’ll be looking closely at Radical Judaism: Rethinking God and Tradition, Rabbi Green opens his work by saying “...the simultaneous quest for both God and Truth presents a terrible yet wonderful conflict. It is this conflict, and my ongoing attempt to resolve it, that the book you have just opened is all about.”

If you are moved by the spiritual quest, yet alienated by religious dogma, you might find this class to be powerful way into the richness of contemporary Jewish theology. Please be sure to order your copy of the book prior to the first class.
